Our Founder
At 11 years old, Cara, came up with an idea to start her own business. Her vision was to provide homes with beautiful experiences through fragrances. She came up with the business name by using a word that her great-grandfather made up and used to describe things that were very pleasing to him (usually a home cooked meal shared with his family). Thus Scrumpudious Scents was started in 2023.
While she has enjoyed the process of starting, owning, and operating her own business, it has been overwhelming at times. Cara occasionally enlists the help of her family and friends. Under her direction, we have been able to work beside her and assist in making her vision a reality.
After coming up with the company name and vision, Cara was ready to make her first product. She started the long process of learning how to make a quality soy wax candle. The trials and errors were not always fun, but within a few months she had a candle that she was proud to put her name on.
With the great success of her candles and with her customers' desire for even more products, Care has expanded her product line to include natural soaps and skin care.

Our candles are free of parabens, phthalates, and other harmful chemicals, making them safe for you and the environment. We believe that using high-quality ingredients is the key to creating candles that look and smell amazing, and that burn clean and evenly.
